The black
bloc was a strong presence throughout the days. Their ideas of protest
reflected a much different ideology than a lot of the other protesters,
and they were willing to commit acts of property destruction in order
to get their point across. At the same time, all the anarchists I
talked to were friendly and knowledgeable about what was up.
