When we arrived at the convergence space, a warehouse off of Florida Avenue, the police were already out in force. They had raided at around 8 AM, citing fire code violations (that in other situations, people are given 48 hours to fix), claiming they found ingredients to make a molotov cocktail, and shutting down the entire place where teach-ins and large amounts of food were held. After negotiation (and chants of "Free the Puppets!"), the police allowed for the puppets to be taken out of the building.
