It's unsettling to see this everyday when I walk home from classes. My friend said they looked like bike racks, and they do, can you imagine all these barriers having bikes chained to them on every side? It'd be amazing.
You can see the cops hanging out in groups, that's what they do most of the time, little clumps every thirty feet or so, drinking coffee and harassing the occasional bystander.
