09/05/2002 Entry: "on parents"
"When I recall that memory I think it is the first time I began to fathom that adults had lives of their own, that those lives stretched back into strange territories: films were made, grandmothers were divorced and remarried, families moved from state to state, all of it stunning not in concept, but in its relation to me, that I was a product of these forces."
Wonderful writing by Paul Ford over at Ftrain.
