09/05/2002 Entry: "steve mccurry, in pdx"
Just found out that Steve McCurry has an opening here in Portland tonight that will feature one of the most famous photographs ever taken, along with some of his images from September 11th. Interestingly enough, I found he took this photo which is very similar to James Nachtwey's photo, though I find the symmetry and lack of color in Nachtwey's photo makes it a much stronger picture.
